- How do I get approval for making improvements to my home?
Home improvements can be made as long as they remain consistent with the original neighborhood design. Contact the Architectural Committee chairperson at architectural@meadowtrace.org before making any changes that do not conform to the original design.
- What do my dues pay for?
Your dues pay for a lot more than access to the pool and tennis courts! Dues directly cover maintenance of the common property, social gatherings throughout the year, neighborhood security, and lighting on the common property. Indirectly your dues serve to maintain your property value and build community.
- How can I help out?
Committee openings are posted on the web site and board elections are held once a year. In addition, the board and committees host events throughout the year and any help is greatly appreciated. Please use the Contact Us page to let us know your interests.
- How do I get something in the newsletter?
We're always looking for events occuring in our community. Contact the Communications chairperson at news@meadowtrace.org with any event you would like to see in the newsletter or on the website.
- How do I contact the board?
Use one of the methods listed on the contact us page.
- I am a real estate agent, and I am selling a new home in the neighborhood. Can you provide me with information for a new homeowner?
Contact the Membership chairperson to get a welcome packet delivered to a new home owner.
- How do I file a complaint about my neighbors lawn?
Contact us at architectural@meadowtrace.com to file a complaint.
- What happens when I file a complaint?
A member of the Architectural Committee will contact you for more information. The complaint will be addressed in the most appropriate manner (either be referral to the architectural committee, the Board, or Gwinnett County law and/or code enforcement).
- Can I park my motorhome\ camper\ trailer in my driveway?
Our covenants allow 24 hours to park these in your driveway. If longer times are needed applications can be submitted to the board, but are not guaranteed of approval. Application must be submitted prior to parking the vehicle in your driveway.
- Can my child swim attend the pool by himself/ herself?
Children between the ages of 14 - 17 years old can attend the pool by themselves after a parent or guardian signs the appropriate wiaver. Contact the Recreation Committee chairperson at recreation@meadowtrace.org to sign the waiver.
- Why can't my child under 14 attend the pool by himself/ herself?
The board has voted and agreed that children under 14 should not be at the pool without adult supervision. They represent a risk to the safety of themselves and puts unnecessary strain on the lifeguard.
- Can my 14 - 17 year old bring a same-age friend to the pool?
Only those children between 14-17 years old whose parents have signed the liability waiver may attend the pool without adult supervision.
